Kersten Displacement Map

I used a displacement map on this picture. What I did is I got a new document to make the displacement map. After I did all of that, I displaced it, and it made it look blury. I then made an inner glow and an inner shadow to give it the look that its "shaved off" the texture.

The Asylum

This project is called "The Asylum." In this project I used many tools. I started with the guy and his colored picture. I turned that picture black and white, and then opened the asylum picture. The asylum picture was turned into a blue picture, and I added a rocky filter to it. I placed that on the man, and used the gradient tool to soften up the edges. I then typed "The Asylum" onto the face, and did some touching up.

The Inner You

This project is called the inner you. There is a side picture of me walking, with a shadow of a photographer. The photographer symbolizes the inner me, because when I grow up I want to work with photography. I turned many pictures into black and white, and just combined them together.

Shadow Dancing

This dancing girl was made using only 3 layers and 2 pictures. The original picture only had the girl on the right. Then, I selected the girl from the second figure and made her dark. I then changed the opacity, and made a line with the paintbrush tool on the feet. Very simple project.

Transformations #2

I actually took this picture on the beach at South Padre Island. I really like this picture because the birds are scaled bigger than the size they actually were, and I like that the clouds still sort of go with each other.

Transformations

I used the distort, perspective, and warping of this picture. I warped the bridge down to make it look like the bridge swooped down, then back up to the boat dock.

Veggie Head

This is the veggie head I made by selecting all of the body parts and pretty much just putting them together. I used mainly the lasso tool, selecting and deselecting many parts of the body. I also used the magic wand tool and the elliptical tool. At the end, I used the crop tool to crop everything else out.
