Vintage Poster

The techniques used in this project were from simply adding a drop shadow to making many layer masks, etc. The layer masks was used for the whole groovy theme and flower background theme, using a white paint brush to make the effects visible. I then put in a picture of my girlfriend and I, and I added a dog face to my head. I then placed pictures of paper, and put random text on top of it.

Adobe Lightroom

This project was easy because all that I really had to do was type in "Adobe Lightroom" and then put shapes inside of it using layer masks. That is literally all I did. I added a dark brush over it to give it some effect, then changed the saturation a tad bit to make it look even cooler than it already is.

Here is the link to the tutorial.

Aqua

This text modification was very simple and easy. I typed the word aqua (in different layers), and I just changed a lot of the blending modes with each letter. I then put a background shadow, and I added bubble effects to the front of the letters. I then added bubbles, giving the circles an inner glow and giving them the 3D bubble effect.

Coca Cola Ad

This project was very easy, but it took a while to make it look right. The first thing I did was make the floor. I copied a picture from the internet and fit it on the bottom of the screen. I then copied a picture of a Coca Cola bottle and put it on top. After putting on some burn to the ground and darkening the picture, it looks front and centered. I then put a red tint over everything and added some background lighting.

Movie Poster

This movie poster was probably one of my favorite projects. I created a fireball effect with a radial color and swirled it. I then took that and added a brush to it that looks like electricity, giving it the fireball effect. I then cut out two astronauts from a picture and changed their hue and saturation, making them blend in to the picture. After I was done I put text on the bottom and pretended that my poster was a movie poster.

Brush Composition

This assignment was easy, yet tricky. I first had to cut out Will Smith from his original picture, and put him onto a new document. I then put a blur around him, and went on to the next step. I found a picture of a creepy forest on the internet, and added a creepy purple overlay to it and made it blend in well. You can't clearly see it from here, but I also added a wavy swoosh to the bottom right corner (purple). The last part of the assignment was when I added the triangle behind Will Smith, just to give the picture some lightness on his face. That's it folks.
